This pic was taken about 50 years ago. I knew this kid! I knew his dreams & desires. His hopes & wishes! Did he make it? I sit here on January 30th, 2009 and tell you YES! 50 years later and the things he thought were important still are important and are the bedrock of his reality.

Now I say, that is a sign of TRUE happiness! Not that I've accomplished all I ever dreamed of (yet), but I feel like I'm making pretty good progress. Fabulous husband - check! Amazing daughter - check! Love beyond measure - check! Wonderful church - check! Laughter every single day - check! Not half bad!!!
